Live Vibe: Treats! Sprouted Almond Maple Buckwheat Granola

Sprouted Buckwheat Maple Almond Granola
  • 1 Cup (dry measure) organic buckwheat grouts
  • 2 TBS organic grade B maple syrup
  • 1 TBS organic raw honey
  • 1 tsp of organic vanilla extract or vanilla seeds (scrape from the pod)
  • 1/4 tsp of organic almond extract
  • A pinch of live sea slat
  • Sprouted almonds to taste
  • Wild organic blueberries or flame raisins to taste
Note: (double for 4 or more servings)

Soak buckwheat grouts overnight at room temp in clean source water. Rinse well and drain.

Place grouts in a mixing bowel with Grade B Maple syrup to coat. Allow to rest for several hours or refrigerate overnight. Stir in remaining ingredients and serve with nut mylk.

OR, dehydrate at 105 degrees until crisp. It will stick together in love-chunks! Easy way to transport sweetness for energy on the go! It's also good in this crunchy faze with nut mylk or as an "uncookie: with ice "cream." (see Banana date Ice "Cream.")

Variations:
In place of almonds & blueberries:
Stir in goji berries, black walnut pieces and raw carob powder (chocolate-fudge-like yummy richness!)
OR
Stir in date pieces, chopped apples, coconut shreds, cinnamon and cardamon powders (Exotic chi-like ecstasy!)
OR
Just vanilla. (Nice, soothing, mood-enhancer and romanic num-num!)
